Presentation of the Lord Sunday Gospel 2/2/25: When the day came for them to be purified as laid down by the Law of Moses, the parents of Jesus took him up to Jerusalem to present him to the Lord. (Lk. 2:22)
*** Mary and Joseph offered Jesus to God, and Jesus saved the whole world. God sanctified Mary to be the mother of God, and she experienced God’s presence through her son Jesus. Offering to God is a way of in union with God and asking God for help. We offer ourselves to God, and God sanctifies our life to holiness, and we experience God’s presence.
Dâng Đức Giêsu trong đền thờ, Phúc Âm: Khi đã đủ thời gian, đến ngày các ngài phải được thanh tẩy theo luật Mô-sê, bà Ma-ri-a và ông Giu-se đem con lên Giê-ru-sa-lem, để tiến dâng cho Chúa. (Lc. 2:22)
*** Đức Maria và Thánh Giuse dâng Đức Giêsu cho Thiên Chúa, và Đức Giêsu cứu chuộc thế giới. Thiên Chúa thánh hóa Mẹ Maria trở thành Mẹ Thiên Chúa và Mẹ cảm nghiệm Chúa hiện diện qua con mẹ Đức Giêsu. Dâng hiến cho Thiên Chúa là cách kết hợp với Chúa và xin Chúa phù trợ. Ta dâng hiến chính mình cho Chúa và Chúa thánh hóa đời ta thêm thánh thiện và ta nhìn thấy Chúa hiện diện.
